Not even sure where to begin…

I was blind sided one day with with my daughter being moved over 2 hours away from the area her and I called home. Overwhelming feelings of hopelessness and anxiety consumed me as I called attorney after attorney. None of which felt like they took any interest in my cries as a father in which the “law” seemed completely against me. A blatant and malicious abuse of power supported by a government that views fathers as 2nd class parents made me feel extremely trapped and that my only option was to surrender to the demands of the opposing party. I'll just say getting a divorce is like a death in the family and Carol was so helpful during a terrible time in my life. Things were not too messy, but she made all the right choices for me and made my situation manageable. Highly recommend, she pays attention to details and really knows her stuff and how to the make the system work without confusing information I didn't need, she was very clear on expectations. Positive outcome in the end, right attorney, right results.

I had one consultation with a different lawyer and was very unimpressed. Then someone mentioned Carol Peake and I went to a consultation with her. Immediately I knew I had the right person, very personable, very knowledgeable and actually seemed to be interested in the details of the case and not just going thru the motions. My husband and I spoke to numerous lawyers, not feeling comfortable with any of them. I didn't want to feel like "another client" or that I was just another "paycheck." I wanted to feel like I was the only client they had, even if I wasn't. I wanted to feel like the lawyer cared about my case, not just the paycheck they were getting from me. Very hard to find any one that cares about your case, more than Carol. She worked with me on family child custody support issues. Carol is kind, compassionate, and truly cares about the family or persons she is representing. She seems to be well organized and understanding of the system. She listens, but is not afraid to tell you what you need to do in order to accomplish the task you ask her to perform. I feel she cares about her clients and the family as a whole. She will tell you how it works, what you need to do, but also listen to your apprehensions and tell you how she feels you need to handle events in order to achieve your goal. I found Carol by doing some on line research. I went to meet her to handle my divorce, I found her to be very warm and welcoming so I hired her.
